HSE Coordinator – Integrated Schemes


Minimum requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Science or equivalent. With Diploma in Safety.

NEBOSH General Certificate / OSHA 10 hrs. & 30 hrs. / IOSH certificate.

8 years of total experience in heavy industries in which 6 years of experience in handling project HSE matters.

Software Skills: MS Office – Word, Excel & Outlook .

Good spoken English.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the full implementation of contractor HSE plan.

Ensure the implementation of the contractor Waste Disposal procedure.

Participate in the contractor HSE meetings, TRAs, etc.

Ensure the contractors strict adherence to safe & good working practices on site during construction period.

Coordinates, supervises and ensures implementation of all Site HSE aspects with the ISP Team to achieve Project HSE Goals and Objectives in accordance with contractual HSE requirements.

Ensure that ISP Project Construction Works are implemented to the specified HSE requirements, within schedule and in line with specified ISP HSE Objectives and Targets.

Monitors and supervises the implementation of the ISP Project Construction HSE Plan.

Exposure to H2S environment, site radiography & work at height.

Exposure to spading / de spading activities & breathing apparatus.

Monitors the implementation of the Construction related ISP Health, Safety and Environment Action Tracking Register items.

Monitors the implementation of the Construction related ISP Health, Safety and Environment Action Tracking Register items.

Organizes periodical meetings with ISP Project Management Team to provide input on Project’s Health, Safety and Environment performance and compliance.

Ensures that HSE construction related actions and recommendations are addressed and implemented. Participants in accidents / incidents investigations and follow up the implementation of the resulting actions and recommendations.

Participates in Accidents/Incidents Investigations and follows up the implementation of the resulting actions and recommendations.

Monitors the effectiveness of Contractor’s HSE Training Program and evaluates gaps/areas for further enhancement.

Participates in Accidents/Incidents Investigations and follows up the implementation of the resulting actions and recommendations.

Coordinates, prepares and communicates monthly ISP Project HSE Performance Reports and monitors the proactive and active HSE indicators.

Performs periodical Advanced Safety Audit (ASA) tours.

Assist the development and revision of policies, procedures and programs.

Conducts inspections of all facilities.

Ensures proper training of all employees in the project.

Communicate and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with HSE Manual.

Ensures that all HSE reporting is accurate, complete and distributed as per the ADGAS HSE Management System.

Facilitate the investigation of incidence, accidents and injuries.

Facilitates the compilation and submittal of accident / incident reports required by ADGAS.

Maintains safety files and training records.

Plans and conducts inspection and safety meetings with crews.

Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs from the contractors.

Assist in conducting needs analysis, development and delivery of safety education topics.

Facilitate risk assessments.

Assists with the orientation process of new employees.
