Minimum Requirements:
Engineering Graduate or equivalent.
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Project Control in the field of Oil & Gas and/or Refineries, Petrochemicals.
Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.
Very good hands on experience in working with PRIMAVERA P6, PERTMASTER.
Responsibilities:
To establish realistic schedules for the projects and to ensure implementation of most appropriate and effective progress measurement and reporting systems by the Consultants & Contractors to enable effective monitoring of the progress, which is essential for ensuring timely project completions
To prepare, update and maintain systems and procedures relating to Project Planning & Scheduling, Progress Measurement, Progress Reporting, Progress Trending, Progress Certification, etc. consistent with the Company requirements.
To ensure all project control requirements are adequately incorporated into the Tenders/Agreements for various projects (Pre-FEED, FEED, EPC, PMC, etc.).
Review of part of the Technical Bids pertaining to Project Controls and prepare relevant portion of the Technical Evaluation Report as well as to finalize relevant portion of the Agreement document subsequent to award.
To make detailed review and analysis of all submittals from Pre-FEED , FEED, EPC, PMC Contractors/Consultants during implementation stage relating to Planning, Scheduling, Progress Measurement, Reporting, Schedule Risk Analysis, Productivity, etc taking into consideration the Agreement requirements, Project priorities.
To verify and endorse monthly physical progress claimed by the Consultants/Contractors for payment purposes.
To evaluate & analyses the reported progress and schedule status, identify the Areas of concern impacting the project completion schedule and to advise the Head of Project Controls on the proposed corrective actions.
To review resource deployment by Contractors/Consultants for determining their adequacy for meeting the completion schedules based on the productivity rates and recommend enhancements where required.
To evaluate Variation requests/Claims for extension of project schedules made by Contractors and prepare appropriate recommendations to Management for approval.
To review periodically the Schedule Risk Analysis along with the mitigation measures identified by the Consultants/Contractors and to ensure timely implementation of all agreed migration measures.
To coordinate with the Project Group/ PMC/EPC Contractors as required to ensure adherence to the project control procedures and other requirements throughout the project duration to achieve successful project implementation.
Must have extensive hands on experience in working with PRIMAVERA P6 & PERTMASTER. As and when required, should be able to prepare resource loaded schedules using P6.
To participate in the development of Balanced Score Card for the division and to report achievements regularly to the Corporate Reporting Group.
