Minimum Requirements:
The Senior Planning Engineer will be a qualified professional who must have a minimum qualification BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent, have Chartered status and more than 10 years relevant post graduate experience and qualifications in major highway projects including demonstrated knowledge of the Primavera Suite of programs, with five being similar to this project/role. Regional experience is preferable.
The Senior Planning Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing company`s reputation with our clients and developing effective long term client relationships thus identifying and developing new opportunities for the Group.
Duties Performed
Report to the Senior Resident Engineer
Be responsible for all aspects of the planning and programming of the works
Be responsible for the compilation of the monthly reports.
Check and monitor the contractors programme.
Monitor progress.
Prepare reports.
Work with the Senior Quantity Surveyor on claims and the assessments of any extensions of time.
