The Site Engineer – Utilities will be a qualified professional who must have a minimum qualification BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent with more than 10 years experience with 7 being similar to this project/role, regional experience is preferred
The Site Engineer – Utilities will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing company`s reputation with our clients and developing effective long term client relationships thus identifying and developing new opportunities for the Group.
Report to the Resident Engineer – Utilities and will be assisted by the highways inspectors and land surveyors.
Assist in checking the contractor’s submissions and shop drawings
Assist in responding to the contractor’s requests for information.
Liaise with the inspectors, surveyors and materials inspectors with regard to the timely processing of the requests for inspection (RFI) to ensure there are no undue delays.
Ensure that there are no programming conflicts with utility diversions
Assist the Planning Engineer to prepare the monthly status reports.
