Minimum Requirements
1. Education:
Bachelor of Science in Logistics Management, Business Administration or Economics
2. Experience:
5 to 8 years of experience in similar positions.
Good knowledge in logistics and supply chain management. Good knowledge in Sea Freights and shipping. Working knowledge in petrochemical products.
3. Fluent English language(Reading & Writing).
Job Description
Control all the work related to scheduling and material management.
Review and consolidate detailed logistics plan for packing and vanning of polymer products, liasing withSales, Production Planning, Packaging and Marketers to determine customer priorities and commitments.
Liase with Sales & Quality Assurance to establish packing/ vanning norms, communicate same to the contractors and ensure that packing and vanning of products are as per norms.
Liase with contractors to ensure availability of appropriate packing materials on a timely basis and communicate possible delays to Manufacturing and Sales and propose contigency plans.
Review and consolidate weekly and monthly reports on inventory and vanning activities.
