Regional Project Manager

Minimum Requirements

1. Education: Engineering degree(Essential);Supervisory management skills, MBA(Desired)

2. Experience: Have experience in project engineering and management(Essential) ; Good creativity for technical, organizational and administrative matters(Desired)

3. Computer Knowledge: AutoCAD, Ms project or similar software for project control, Ms office

4. Languages required to be known:English(Essential) ; Arabic, German(Desired)

5. Legally required skills: International driving license

Purpose and Scope

Manage with subordinates all project related matters from offer/contract till hand-over of equipment to customers. Support management, sales, marketing and service on system and product processing related matters

Project Definition

All orders for new equipments either for a new project or for changes/ modification of installed equipments or additional equipment requested by existing customer.


Manage and organize the project department

Supervise project procurement of his subordinates

Control and approve quotations and sales agreements issued by sales; provide standard layout of packaging lines if required for quotations

Obtain quotations from suppliers for standard supply, projects or special equipment

Issue standard price list for standard filling lines.

Manage execution of projects until hand-over to customer and after sales service

Clarify project related technical matters with customers, suppliers and technical staff for order procurement and installation of the equipment

Provide customers with all project related documentation for the installation of equipment, premises required for aseptic production, testing of product, storage of product, storage of spare parts, office or service technicians and materials and equipment to be provided by customers

Prepare equipment layout to be approved by customer for ordering of equipment and installation

Check customer premises for the installation of equipment and advice customer for any corrections to be made for filling room, downstream area, warehouse, laboratory, spare parts stocking and office with support of other related department such as Quality and Technical.

Order equipment according to sales agreement and approved prices

Control suppliers quotations and approve invoices for payment

Arrange for timely shipment, installation and manpower for the equipment

Prepare first installation schedule and inform service department accordingly for arranging of manpower; update installation schedule whenever is required with information to service and sales

Supervise installation, commissioning, hand-over to customers until final closing of a project in cooperation with service department

Clarify and manage with customer and sales any deviations from scope of delivery or any other project related matters not part of contract

Arrange for proper administration and log-book of customer

Follow up after hand-over any customer relates matters jeopardizing the efficiency of the filling line such as improper upstream, CIP, energy supply etc.

Support service department for special after sales services related to plant production organization, plant modifications or general evaluation of major problems related to equipment, manpower etc. Details to be specified later on in cooperation with Sales Managers and Technical Managers.

Support Management, Sales, Marketing and Service on all technical matters of filling machines, downstream machines, up-stream equipment and other accessories
